Special Projects

Throughout my time at Washburn, my work in brand development has led to several special project requests, often outside the scope of my job description. Each project has offered a unique opportunity to reinforce Washburn’s brand identity and foster engagement with our community.

My Role and Contributions
Notable projects include:
President’s Holiday Card: I designed a holiday card that captures Washburn’s spirit while providing a personalized touch from the university’s president.
Alumni Gifts: I developed a series of gifts, including a custom Washburn Law pennant and branded salt scrubs sourced from the Hutchinson, Kansas Salt Mines.
Apparel and Event Materials: I created apparel and promotional pieces, such as invites for special events and on-trend Washburn Law-branded apparel designs, to ensure consistency in branding across various touchpoints.
Campus Presentation: To share my insights and best practices, I delivered a graphic design fundamentals presentation to marketing and communications staff across campus.

Impact
Each of these projects has reinforced Washburn’s brand while fostering pride and connection among students, faculty, alumni, and the larger community.
